Terms of service

The agreement between RoarView and the business using it. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if something here is unclear, ask us before you sign up rather than after.

01What RoarView does

RoarView gives your staff printed QR cards. A customer scans one, plays a short game, wins a prize decided on the spot, and is then shown your Google review page.

We provide the software. The prizes, their value and their odds are yours to set, and honouring them is yours to do.

02Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your staff do with the cards and PINs you issue them.

Keep your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

03The rule that matters most

The prize must never depend on whether a customer leaves a review, or on what that review says. The product is built so the prize is settled before the review link appears, and you must not work around that.

Offering to pay for positive reviews breaches Google's policies and this agreement. If we find you doing it, we will suspend the account.

04Plans and payment

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in euros, excluding VAT. Annual is priced at ten months.

Each plan includes a monthly scan quota. Going past it either stops the game or bills extra scans at the published per-scan rate, depending on your plan and on whether you have opted into overage.

05Cancelling

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months.

Coupons already issued to your customers stay valid until they expire, and you keep the access needed to redeem them.

06Availability

We aim to keep RoarView running continuously but do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can.

If the service is unavailable for an extended period, write to us and we will discuss a credit.

07Our liability

RoarView is not liable for lost profits, lost goodwill, or the value of prizes you chose to give away.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

08Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Continuing to use RoarView after that date means you accept the new version. If you would rather not, cancel before it starts.

09Emails we send to your customers

When you send a campaign, you decide who it goes to and what it says. You are the controller of that data and we are your processor: we send on your instructions and for no purpose of our own. We never mail your customers about RoarView, and we never use your list for another business.

You are responsible for the consent behind every address. RoarView only collects addresses from people who ticked an unticked box in your game, and there is no way to import a list — so this is a promise the product keeps for you rather than one you have to police.

Some rules are ours and cannot be turned off, because our ability to deliver mail is shared by every business here: one marketing email per person per week, four unplayed emails in a row ends sending to that person, and a spam complaint or a failed delivery removes them for good. A postal address and a working reply-to are required before anything can go out — the law requires both.

If your subscription lapses, campaigns stop. Everything else keeps working until you cancel.
